An Appreciative Inquiry Summit was facilitated during a meeting of three days in which the participants went through the 5 D cycle. We started Defining the topic: «Increasing the impact of our presence to serve better» and Discover from where comes the power of our presence. In the Dream phase, the shared visions were very creative and gave life to the motivations and vocation of the participants.

In the Design phase the Declaration of Possibility confirmed the spirit of service and vocation to help our fellows. The group was a cross section of the Organization, in terms of age, gender, and responsibilities, from different offices throughout Spain. The sharing was enriching, and the visions and aspirations of each one were enriching the whole picture.

Appreciative Inquiry allowed them to expand their understanding on the impact and the power that images and words we use have in our actions. The creation of images and words during the dialogues reaffirmed their vocation and the power of their presence in their daily work accompagning and educating the marginalized and the poor.
